Complete restoration of the Rickman Kawasaki Z 900

Brothers Derek and Don Rickman manufacturers of Kit Motorcycle Parts, during the 1960s to 1975.”

At first, the frames were built for Motocross and Scrambler use, with engines from Triumph Twins, BSA Singles and Matchless.

Only later, in the 1970s, the production of road bikes with Japanese engines, such as the Honda CB 750 and the Kawasaki Z 900, started.

Rickman Motocycles was awarded the Queen’s Award to Industry in 1974.

The Reynolds 531 steel frame, brazed then copper and nickel plated, “Metisse Frame” with its beautiful fiberglass assemblies, are part of our motorcycle heritage today!!!
